X-RAY EVALUATION OF THE LUMBAR SPINE

FINDINGS:             AP, lateral, and oblique views of the lumbar spine are submitted.

There are degenerative changes.

Alignment of the vertebrae is normal.  There is no spondylolysis or spondylolisthesis.

Posterior elements appear to be unremarkable.

Narrowing of the disc space is seen at the L5-S1 disc level.

IMPRESSION:        Moderate degenerative changes associated with narrowing of the disc space at the L5-S1 disc level.
