TRANSVAGINAL PELVIC ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION

CLINICAL DATA:            History of cyst.

FINDINGS:             The uterus is normal in size measuring 9 x 4.1 x 6.1 cm.  There is no intrauterine mass noted.

The endometrial stripe measures 8 mm and this is within the normal range.

The right ovary measures 4.1 x 2.2 x 3 cm and the left ovary measures 3.5 x 2.4 x 2.5 cm.

Multiple cysts are seen involving the right ovary, largest measuring about 1.2 x 1 cm.

There is no free fluid in the cul-de-sac.

IMPRESSION:        Multiple right ovarian cysts, largest measuring 1.2 x 1 cm.
