FINDINGS:             The ultrasound study of the right breast was performed in correlation with the mammographic study of 02/16/2012.  No definite solid or cystic lesion involving the right breast is noted.  The presence of 1.2 cm axillary lymph node is noted.

The ultrasound study of left breast is unremarkable.  There is no solid or cystic lesion noted.

IMPRESSION:        Specifically unremarkable ultrasound study of the right breast.  If there is any clinical concern, MRI and surgical consult may be considered.

There is no free fluid in the cul-de-sac.

IMPRESSION:
1.         No definite intrauterine mass is seen.  However, the uterus has a heterogeneous echotexture.  This may be related to fibroid changes.  Other possibilities cannot be completely excluded.
2.          No definite adnexal mass is seen.

There is a 2.8 x 2.2 cm nodule involving the right lobe.

There are multiple small nodules measuring 8 x 8 mm, 1 cm x 9 mm, and 6 x 5 mm involving the left lobe.

The isthmus measures 1 cm and has a heterogeneous echotexture.

IMPRESSION:        Enlarged thyroid with multiple nodules as discussed.  This may be related to multinodular goiter.  Other possibilities cannot be excluded.  Clinical correlation and further evaluation is recommended.

There is no ascites.

The gallbladder is normal without any evidence of a calculus or wall thickening.  Common bile duct measures 3 mm.  The visualization of the pancreas is limited.

IMPRESSION:        2.8 x 2.8 cm hyperechoic hepatic mass.  It may represent a cavernous hemangioma.  Other possibilities cannot be excluded.  Further evaluation with CAT scan study without and with contrast with hemangioma protocol is recommended.

IMPRESSION:        Well marginated 1.1 x 1 cm lesion corresponding to the physical finding involving the right side of the neck.  It most likely represents a lymph node.  Clinical correlation and if indicated, further evaluation is suggested.

Both testes have a homogeneous echotexture.  There is no intratesticular mass noted.

There was normal blood flow to both testes.  There is no evidence of testicular torsion.  Epididymis appeared to be unremarkable bilaterally.

There is bilateral hydrocele, left-sided being larger.

IMPRESSION:
1.                  Bilateral hydrocele, left-sided being larger.
2.                  There is no intratesticular mass noted.
3.                  No evidence of testicular torsion.

Endometrial stripe measures 4 mm.  There is a small amount of fluid seen within the endometrial stripe.

Right ovary was not visualized.

Left ovary measures 1.8 x 1.3 x 1.8 cm.  No definite adnexal mass was noted.

There is no free fluid in the cul-de-sac.

IMPRESSION:        Multiple small intrauterine masses with calcification suggesting the fibroids.

Ultrasound study of right breast is unremarkable.  There is no solid or cystic lesion noted.

The ultrasound study of the left breast shows small cyst measuring about 5.6 x 3.6 mm at about
2 o’clock position.  No definite solid lesion is noted.

IMPRESSION:        A small, 5.6 x 3.6 mm cyst involving the upper and outer quadrant of the left breast at about 2 o’clock position.

Right kidney measures 11.4 x 5 x 5.9 cm and left kidney measures 11.3 x 5.2 x 4.7 cm.  There is no evidence of renal calculus, focal mass, or hydronephrosis.

IMPRESSION:
1.                   Status post cholecystectomy.  There is no dilatation of intra or extrahepatic biliary ducts.
2.                   Mildly enlarged, hyperechoic liver probably due to fatty infiltration.  Other possibilities cannot be completely excluded.

Right kidney measures 13 x 6.1 x 5. 4 cm and left kidney measures 12.6 x 6.1 x 5.7 cm.  There is no evidence of renal calculus, focal renal mass, or hydronephrosis.

IMPRESSION:
1.                   A small about 2 cm umbilical hernia.
2.                   Enlarged, hyperechoic liver most probably due to diffuse fatty infiltration.  Although, possibilities cannot be completely excluded.

Isthmus measures 6 mm.

Both lobes have a heterogeneous echotexture.

There is a solid appearing 1.1 cm x 9 mm nodule involving the lower pole region of the right lobe.

IMPRESSION:
1.                   Mildly enlarged right lobe.
2.                   1.1 cm x 9 mm solid nodule involving the lower pole region of the right lobe.  It may represent a small adenoma.  Other possibilities cannot be completely excluded.  Clinical correlation and if indicated further evaluation is suggested.

FINDINGS:             Ultrasound study of both breasts was performed in correlation with the mammographic study done earlier in the day.

Ultrasound study of the right breast, it is unremarkable.  No definite solid or cystic lesion is noted.

Ultrasound study of the left breast in the presence of markedly dense parenchyma limits the sensitivity of the study.  No definite solid or cystic lesion involving the left breast is noted.  There is a 1.1 cm axillary lymph node.

IMPRESSION:        However, considering the limitation of the sensitivity of the study due to markedly dense parenchyma and possible architectural distortion involving upper and outer quadrant of the left breast on the mammographic study, further evaluation with MRI is recommended.

BI-RADS Clinical Assessment Category 0:  Would recommend further evaluation as discussed.
