ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION OF THE ABDOMEN, LIMITED
CLINICAL DATA: Elevated LFT.
FINDINGS: The liver is hyperechoic. There is no focal mass or ascites.
Gallbladder is
normal. There is no evidence of a
calculus or wall thickening. Common bile
duct measures 4.3 mm. There is no
dilatation of intrahepatic biliary ducts.
The visualization of
the pancreas is limited.
IMPRESSION: Hyperechoic liver, most likely
due to fatty infiltration. Other
possibilities cannot be completely excluded.
