BILATERAL BREAST ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION
CLINICAL DATA: Abnormal mammogram.
FINDINGS: Ultrasound study was performed in
correlation with the mammographic study dated 03/01/2012.
The mammographic study
was limited due to the presence of markedly dense parenchyma.
Ultrasound study of
both breasts was performed in a clockwise fashion.
Ultrasound study of
right breast is unremarkable. There is
no solid or cystic lesion noted.
The ultrasound study
of the left breast shows small cyst measuring about 5.6 x 3.6 mm at about
2 o’clock position. No definite solid lesion is noted.
2 o’clock position. No definite solid lesion is noted.
IMPRESSION: A small, 5.6 x 3.6 mm cyst
involving the upper and outer quadrant of the left breast at about 2 o’clock
position.
