X-RAY EVALUATION OF THE LUMBAR SPINE

INDICATION FOR STUDY:         Low back pain.

FINDINGS:             AP, lateral, and oblique views of the lumbar spine are submitted.

There are mild degenerative changes.  The alignment of the vertebrae is normal.

There is no spondylolysis or spondylolisthesis.

Vertebral bodies are intact.  There is no evidence of a fracture.

Intervertebral disc spaces appear to be unremarkable.

Calcification of abdominal aorta is same.

IMPRESSION:        Mild degenerative changes.  There is no acute abnormality.
