THYROID ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION
FINDINGS: The right lobe of the thyroid
gland measures 4.2 x 1.6 x 2.2 cm and the left lobe measures 3.8 x 1.6 x 1.6
cm. There is a nodule in the right lobe
measuring approximately
1 cm and second one measuring 4 mm. There are no other significant solid or cystic lesions. The isthmus measures 4 mm. If there is any further concern, would recommend clinical correlation or correlation with the patient’s thyroid lab values, nuclear medicine study with uptake, cross-sectional imaging, or biopsy as clinically necessary.
