TRANSABDOMINAL AND TRANSVAGINAL PELVIC ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION
FINDINGS: The uterus measures 10.5 x 4.6 x
6.1 cm. It has a homogeneous
echotexture. There is no intrauterine
mass noted.
Endometrial stripe is
thickened measuring 1.6 cm. This may be
related to hyperplasia or a polyp.
Clinical correlation and if indicated, further evaluation is suggested.
Right ovary measures 3
x 3 x 3.7 cm.
There is a very large,
about 14 x 9.3 cm complex, mainly cystic left adnexal mass. It may represent a complicated cyst. Other possibilities cannot be excluded. Further evaluation with CAT scan is
recommended.
There is no free fluid
in the cul-de-sac.
