BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION

INDICATION FOR STUDY:         The patient has had a previous study at this facility, dated XXXXXXX and a comparison is made to her previous study.

TECHNIQUE:          CC and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.

FINDINGS:               The patient presents with no complaints.

In comparing our current study with the previous study of XXXXXXX, there has been no significant change.

There is scattered heterogeneous breast tissue seen throughout both breasts predominantly in the upper outer aspect of both breasts, but which appears unchanged from the previous examination.  There is no evidence of a mass lesion.

No malignant appearing calcifications are seen.  Scattered benign calcifications can be seen throughout both breasts.

The subcutaneous tissue and vascularity appears normal.  The skin and nipples appear to be normal.

IMPRESSION:        Unchanged from our previous study of XXXXXXX.

BI-RADS Clinical Assessment Category 2:  Benign finding.

BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION

INDICATION FOR STUDY:         The patient may have had a previous study, but it is uncertain as to when or where.

TECHNIQUE:          CC and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.

FINDINGS:               It should be noted that the patient presents with no current complaints.

There is central dense mammary tissue seen in both breasts.  There is no evidence of a mass lesion.  No malignant appearing calcifications could be seen.  The subcutaneous tissue and vascularity is normal.  The skin and nipples are normal.

IMPRESSION:

BI-RADS Clinical Assessment Category 2:  Benign finding.

INDICATION FOR STUDY:         The patient has had a previous study at this facility, dated XXXXXXX and a comparison is made with her previous study.

TECHNIQUE:          CC and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.

FINDINGS:               It should be noted that the patient complains of mild pain in the right breast.

An examination of both breasts show scattered heterogeneous breast tissue, but with no evidence of a dominant mass and no significant change from the previous study of XXXXXXX.  There is scattered heterogeneous breast tissue with no evidence of a mass lesion.

No malignant appearing calcifications can be seen.  The subcutaneous tissue and vascularity is normal.  The skin and nipples are normal.

IMPRESSION:        Unchanged from our previous study of XXXXXXX.

BI-RADS Clinical Assessment Category 2:  Benign finding.
