ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION OF THE NECK

CLINICAL DATA:            Right-sided lump.

FINDINGS:             The ultrasound study was performed with special attention to the palpable finding involving the right side of the neck.  There is a 1.5 x 1 cm well marginated lesion, most likely representing a lymph node.  No other significant abnormality is noted.  There is no abnormal fluid collection.

IMPRESSION:        Well marginated 1.1 x 1 cm lesion corresponding to the physical finding involving the right side of the neck.  It most likely represents a lymph node.  Clinical correlation and if indicated, further evaluation is suggested.
