ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION OF THE ABDOMEN
CLINICAL DATA: Pain.
FINDINGS: There is mild hepatomegaly. The liver measures about 15.8 cm. There is a 2 cm cystic lesion involving the
liver, most likely representing a small cyst.
The spleen is normal
in size and echotexture.
The gallbladder is
normal without any evidence of a calculus or wall thickening. Common bile duct measures 5 mm. There is no dilatation of intrahepatic
biliary ducts.
Pancreas is normal
without any evidence of a focal mass.
The right kidney measures 11.9 x 5.1 x 5.1 cm and left kidney measures
11.2 x 5.4 x 5 cm. There is no evidence
of renal calculus, focal mass, or hydronephrosis.
IMPRESSION:
1.
Mild
hepatomegaly. Liver measures about 15.8
cm.

No
evidence of cholelithiasis.
