BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION
CLINICAL
HISTORY: There
is no positive history of breast cancer in the family.
No
history of previous breast biopsy.
INDICATION: Routine
examination.
No
palpable lump, no symptom.
COMPARISON: No previous study available for comparison.
TECHNIQUE: CC and MLO views of each breast were
obtained along with CAD evaluation.
FINDINGS: There is moderately dense parenchyma limiting the sensitivity of
the study.
Benign
appearing calcifications are seen.
No
definite dominant mass, architectural distortion, or abnormal cluster of
microcalcification seen.
There
is no other significant abnormality noted.
If
there is any clinical concern, further evaluation with ultrasound and MRI may
be considered. If there is no clinical
concern, routine annual mammographic study is suggested.
IMPRESSION:
BI-RADS Clinical Assessment
Category 2: Benign finding.
