X-RAY EVALUATION OF THE CERVICAL SPINE

CLINICAL DATA:            Pain.

FINDINGS:        AP, lateral, oblique, and odontoid views are submitted.

Vertebrae are normal in height and mineralization.

The alignment of the vertebrae is normal.

Posterior elements appear to be unremarkable.

There is no evidence of fracture or subluxation.

Odontoid process is intact and atlanto-axial joint relationship is within normal limits.

Intervertebral disc spaces appear to be unremarkable.

There is no prevertebral soft tissue swelling noted.

IMPRESSION:        Unremarkable examination of the cervical spine.
