ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION OF THE ABDOMEN

CLINICAL DATA:      Pain.

FINDINGS:             Special attention was paid to the gallbladder.  It is normal without any evidence of a calculus or wall thickening.  Common bile duct measures 4.3 mm.  There is no dilatation of intrahepatic biliary ducts.

Liver, spleen, pancreas, and abdominal aorta are unremarkable.

Right kidney measures 11.5 x 5.2 x 5 cm and left kidney measures 12.3 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm.  There is no evidence of renal calculus or hydronephrosis.  No definite focal renal mass is noted.

IMPRESSION:
1.                   Unremarkable ultrasound study of abdomen.
2.                   Clinical correlation and if indicated, further evaluation with CT is suggested.
