SCROTAL ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION

CLINICAL DATA:             Left-sided swelling.

FINDINGS:               The right testis measures 4.7 x 3.1 x 3.2 cm and left testis measures 5.1 x 2.7 x 3 cm.

Both testes have a homogeneous echotexture.  There is no intratesticular mass noted.

There was normal blood flow to both testes.  There is no evidence of testicular torsion.  Epididymis appeared to be unremarkable bilaterally.

There is bilateral hydrocele, left-sided being larger.

IMPRESSION:

1.                  Bilateral hydrocele, left-sided being larger.

2.                  There is no intratesticular mass noted.

3.                  No evidence of testicular torsion.
