ULTRASOUND STUDY OF THE ABDOMEN

CLINICAL DATA:  Rule out gallstone.

Ultrasound study of the abdomen was performed with special attention to the gallbladder.

Gallbladder is normal.  There is no evidence of calculus or wall thickening or pericholecystic fluid collection.

Common bowel duct measures 5 mm.  There is no dilation of intrahepatic biliary ducts.

Pancreas is normal without any evidence of a focal mass.

The liver and spleen are normal in size and have a homogenous echotexture.  There is no focal mass or ascites.

The abdominal aorta is unremarkable.  There is no evidence of aneurysm.

Right kidney measures 10 x 3.5 x 3.9 cm and left kidney measures 9.9 x 4.6 x 4.2 cm.  There is no evidence of a renal calculus or renal mass or hydronephrosis.

IMPRESSION:        Unremarkable ultrasound study of abdomen.  Specifically there is no evidence of Cholelithiasis.
