ULTRASOUND STUDY OF PELVIS

CLINICAL DATA:  Postmenopausal bleeding.

FINDINGS:             The uterus is retroverted.

It measures 6.8 x 5.5 x 5.9 cm.  There are intrauterine masses measuring 3.4 x 3.6 x 3.7 cm and 2.7 x 2.7 x 2.3 cm, probably representing fibroids.  Other possibilities cannot be excluded.

Endometrial stripe measures 8 mm.

Right ovary measures 2.2 x 1.3 x 1.9 cm and left ovary measures 2 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm.  There is no adnexal mass noted.

There is no free fluid in the cul-de-sac.

IMPRESSION:        Intrauterine masses measuring 3.4 x 3.6 and 2.7 x 2.7 cm.  They probably represent fibroids.  Other possibilities cannot be completely excluded.

There is no adnexal mass noted.  Endometrial stripe measures 8 mm.
