X-RAY EVALUATION OF THE LUMBAR SPINE

FINDINGS:              AP, lateral, and oblique views of the lumbar spine are submitted.

There are moderate hypertrophic degenerative changes.

Alignment of the vertebrae is normal.  There is no spondylolysis or spondylolisthesis.

Posterior elements appear to be unremarkable.

Diffuse narrowing of the disc spaces at multiple disc levels.

IMPRESSION:        Moderate hypertrophic degenerative changes with diffuse narrowing of disc spaces at multiple disc levels.  Clinical correlation and if indicated, further evaluation is suggested.
