FINDINGS:        AP, lateral, oblique, and odontoid views of the cervical spine are submitted.

There are mild hypertrophic degenerative changes with anterior spur formation involving the lower cervical spine.

Alignment of the vertebrae is normal.  There is no subluxation.

Posterior elements appear to be unremarkable.

Odontoid process is intact and atlanto-axial joint relationship is within normal limits.

There is no prevertebral soft tissue swelling noted.  There is some narrowing of the disc space at C4-C5 and C5-C6 levels.  Clinical correlation and if indicated, further evaluation is suggested.
