UNILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION
INDICATION
FOR STUDY: The patient has had a previous
right breast mastectomy. A comparison is
made to a previous study of XXXXXXXX.
TECHNIQUE: CC
and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the
digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.
FINDINGS: In
comparing our current study with a previous study of XXXXXXXX, the left
breast appears to be normal and unchanged.
There continues to be some
increased density seen in the upper outer aspect of the left breast, but
unchanged from the previous study.
A small irregular density seen in
the tail of the left breast probably represents a small intramammary lymph
node.
Scattered benign calcifications
can be seen. The subcutaneous tissue and
vascularity appears normal. Skin and
nipples appear normal.
IMPRESSION: Unchanged from a study of XXXXXXXX.
BI-RADS
Clinical Assessment Category 2: Benign finding.
Thank
you for the referral.
XXXXXXXXX, M.D.
