BILATERAL
DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION
INDICATION FOR STUDY: The patient states that she has
had a previous study, but is uncertain as to where perhaps at RIA. These films should be located and sent to
this department for comparison with the current study.
TECHNIQUE: CC
and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the
digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.
FINDINGS: The patient presents with no
current complaints. The dominant finding
is fatty replacement with only a minimal amount of residual heterogeneous
breast tissue remaining in either breast.
There is no evidence of a mass lesion.
Benign calcifications
are noted. The subcutaneous tissue and
vascularity is normal. The skin and
nipples are normal.
IMPRESSION:
BI-RADS
Clinical Assessment Category 2: Benign
finding.
