BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION - 17

BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION

INDICATION FOR STUDY:         We are uncertain as to whether the patient has had a previous mammogram, as she is a very poor historian.

TECHNIQUE:          CC and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.

FINDINGS:               The dominant finding is fatty replacement with only scattered heterogeneous breast tissue remaining.  I see no evidence of a mass lesion.

No malignant appearing calcifications are identified.  The subcutaneous tissue and vascularity is normal.  The skin and nipples appear to be normal.

IMPRESSION:

BI-RADS Clinical Assessment Category 2:  Benign finding.

Thank you for the referral.
