BILATERAL
DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION
INDICATION FOR STUDY: The patient has had a previous
study in 2010. This film should be
obtained and sent to this department for comparison with the current study.
TECHNIQUE: CC
and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the
digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.
FINDINGS: There continues to be dense
mammary tissue seen in the anterior aspect of both breasts. The appearance is symmetrical and there is
nothing to suggest a mass lesion.
A solitary benign
calcification is noted in the right breast.
The subcutaneous tissue and vascularity is normal. The skin and nipples are normal. Scattered small adenopathy is seen in the
tail and axilla of the left breast.
IMPRESSION:
BI-RADS
Clinical Assessment Category 2: Benign
finding.
