BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION
INDICATION
FOR STUDY: The patient has had a previous
study at RIA in 2009. This film should
be obtained and sent to this department for comparison with the current study.
TECHNIQUE: CC
and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the
digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.
FINDINGS: The
patient presents with no current complaints.
There is scattered heterogeneous
breast tissue seen throughout both breasts, but no evidence of a mass lesion.
A few benign calcifications could
be seen. No malignant appearing
calcifications are suspected. The
subcutaneous tissue and vascularity is normal.
The skin and nipples are normal.
IMPRESSION:
BI-RADS
Clinical Assessment Category 2: Benign finding.
