BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION
INDICATION
FOR STUDY: The patient has had a previous
study on 10/15/2007 and a comparison is made with her previous study.
TECHNIQUE: CC
and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the
digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.
FINDINGS: It
should be noted that the patient presents with no current complaints.
There is somewhat dense mammary
tissue seen in the central portion of both breasts. There is no evidence of a mass lesion.
Some scattered benign appearing
calcifications can be seen. A rounded
density can be seen in the inferior medial aspect of the right breast most
likely representing a fibroadenoma, as the margins appear sharply defined. Also, axillary adenopathy can be seen on the
left.
IMPRESSION: Unchanged from our previous study of XXXXXXX.
BI-RADS
Clinical Assessment Category 2: Benign finding.
Thank
you for the referral.
XXXXXXXXX, M.D.
