BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION
INDICATION
FOR STUDY: The patient has had a previous
mammogram at RIA. This film should be
obtained and sent to this department for comparison with the current study.
TECHNIQUE: CC and
MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the digital
mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.
FINDINGS: The
finding is dense mammary tissue seen bilaterally. No mass lesion is identified. No malignant appearing calcifications can be
seen. The subcutaneous tissue and
vascularity appears to be normal. The
skin and nipples are normal.
In absence of prior films, a
comparison with the study at RIA is necessary.
If these films are not available, then an ultrasound of both breasts
would be recommended.

Clinical Assessment Category 2: Benign finding.
