TESTES ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION

CLINICAL DATA:            Pain.

FINDINGS:                The right testis measures 4.4 x 2.5 x 3 cm and left testis measures
4.2 x 2.4 x 3 cm.  Both testes are of homogeneous echotexture.  There is no intratesticular mass noted.

There is normal blood flow to both testes and there is no evidence of testicular torsion.

The right epididymis appeared to be enlarged.  The presence of small bilateral hydrocele is noted.

IMPRESSION:

1.                   There is no evidence of testicular torsion.

2.                   There is no intratesticular mass noted.

3.                   Small bilateral hydrocele.

4.                   The right epididymis appeared to be enlarged raising the possibility of acute epididymitis.  Clinical correlation is suggested.
