BILATERAL
DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION
INDICATION FOR STUDY: The patient has had bilateral
breast implants in 2008.
TECHNIQUE: CC and MLO views of each breast
were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the digital mammogram machine and
the CAD evaluation was reviewed.
FINDINGS: Patient presents with a milky
discharge from the left nipple. Prior to
displacement of the breast implants, no abnormalities can be seen.
With displacement of
the implants, there is dense mammary tissue seen bilaterally. There is no evidence of a mass lesion
however.
No malignant appearing
calcifications are seen. The
subcutaneous tissue and vascularity is normal.
The skin and nipples are normal.
In view of the patient’s left nipple discharge, particular attention is
paid to the subareolar area on the left, but no abnormality is seen.
IMPRESSION:
BI-RADS
Clinical Assessment Category 2: Benign
finding.
