BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION
INDICATION
FOR STUDY: The patient has had a previous
study in Orange County, California. This
film should be obtained and sent to this department for comparison with her
current study.
TECHNIQUE: CC
and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the
digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.
FINDINGS: There
appears to be symmetrical changes with residual mammary tissue seen
bilaterally, which appears to be bilaterally symmetrical. I see nothing to suggest a mass lesion within
either breast.
A few benign appearing
calcifications are seen. No malignant
appearing calcifications are identified.
The subcutaneous tissue and vascularity is normal. The skin and nipples appear to be normal.
IMPRESSION:
BI-RADS
Clinical Assessment Category 2: Benign finding.
