BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION - 31

BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION

INDICATION FOR STUDY:         The patient has had a previous study in Orange County, California.  This film should be obtained and sent to this department for comparison with her current study.

TECHNIQUE:          CC and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.

FINDINGS:               There appears to be symmetrical changes with residual mammary tissue seen bilaterally, which appears to be bilaterally symmetrical.  I see nothing to suggest a mass lesion within either breast.

A few benign appearing calcifications are seen.  No malignant appearing calcifications are identified.  The subcutaneous tissue and vascularity is normal.  The skin and nipples appear to be normal.

IMPRESSION:

BI-RADS Clinical Assessment Category 2:  Benign finding.

Thank you for the referral.
