TRANSABDOMINAL AND TRANSVAGINAL ULTRASOUND STUDY OF PELVIS
FINDINGS: The uterus measures 8.2 x 3.4 x 3.9
cm. Multiple small cystic lesions are
seen involving the cervix. They range in
size from 4.4 mm to 9.1 mm.
The endometrial stripe
measures 7 mm, which is within normal limits.
Right ovary measures
4.2 x 3.7 x 3.9 cm and the left ovary measures 2.9 x 2.0 x 2.2 cm. There is a 3.4 x 2.9 cm septated cystic
lesion in the right adnexa.
There is no free fluid
in the cul-de-sac.
IMPRESSION: Septated 3.4 x 2.9 cm cystic
lesion in the right adnexa, most probably representing ovarian cyst.
