BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION
INDICATION
FOR STUDY: The patient has had a previous
study at XXXXXXX. This film
should be obtained and sent to this department for comparison with the current
study.
TECHNIQUE: CC
and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the
digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.
FINDINGS: The
dominant finding is residual dense mammary tissue. Also, there is the suggestion of a 2 cm mass
lesion in the central portion of the right breast. Margins would appear to be smooth, but an
ultrasound examination for further evaluation is recommended.
No malignant appearing
calcifications are seen. The
subcutaneous tissue and vascularity is normal.
The skin and nipples are normal.
IMPRESSION: An ultrasound examination of the right breast is
recommended to evaluate the questioned mass lesion.
BI-RADS
Clinical Assessment Category 0: Would recommend further evaluation as
discussed.
