BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION

INDICATION FOR STUDY:           The patient believes that she does have a previous mammogram, but does not remember where or when.

TECHNIQUE:           CC and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.

FINDINGS:               The patient presents with no current complaints.

There is scattered heterogeneous breast tissue remaining in both breasts, but nothing, which would suggest a mass lesion.

A solitary benign calcification is seen in the right breast.  No malignant appearing calcifications are identified.

The subcutaneous tissue and vascularity is normal.  The skin and nipples are normal.

IMPRESSION:

BI-RADS Clinical Assessment Category 2:  Benign finding.
