BILATERAL DIGITAL SCREENING MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD EVALUATION
INDICATION
FOR STUDY: The patient believes that she
does have a previous mammogram, but does not remember where or when.
TECHNIQUE: CC
and MLO views of each breast were obtained along with CAD evaluation on the
digital mammogram machine and the CAD evaluation was reviewed.
FINDINGS: The
patient presents with no current complaints.
There is scattered heterogeneous
breast tissue remaining in both breasts, but nothing, which would suggest a
mass lesion.
A solitary benign calcification
is seen in the right breast. No
malignant appearing calcifications are identified.
The subcutaneous tissue and
vascularity is normal. The skin and
nipples are normal.
IMPRESSION:
BI-RADS
Clinical Assessment Category 2: Benign finding.
