X-RAY EVALUATION OF THE RIGHT
KNEE
INDICATION FOR STUDY: Pain and
swelling.
FINDINGS: Views of the right knee suggest
some minimal narrowing of the medial joint compartment. Also, there is some early spur formation seen
involving the medial femoral condyle and the medial tibial plateau, though this
is minimal as noted. No acute osseous
injury is seen and no evidence of prior trauma.
The patella is intact. There is
narrowing of the retropatellar space. No
effusion is identified.
IMPRESSION: Very early and minimal
degenerative change involving the medial joint compartment.
Thank you for the referral.
