CHEST
X-RAY, PA AND LATERAL VIEWS
INDICATION FOR STUDY: Preoperative chest.
FINDINGS: An examination of the chest shows
the lungs to be hyperlucent, but free of active or acute disease. Heart size and contour is normal.
Hemidiaphragms appear
normal with clear costophrenic angles. A
lateral chest radiograph shows a clear retrocardiac space and the posterior
sulcus appears to be clear.
IMPRESSION: No active or acute
cardiopulmonary process is identified.
