CHEST X-RAY, PA AND LATERAL VIEWS
FINDINGS: An examination of the chest shows
the lungs to be well expanded and free of active or acute disease. The heart and mediastinal structures are
normal.
Hemidiaphragms are
normal with clear costophrenic angles.
I see no evidence of a
parenchymal mass lesion within the lung in spite of the patient’s smoking
history.
A lateral chest
radiograph shows a clear retrocardiac space.
The posterior sulcus is clear.
IMPRESSION: No active or acute
cardiopulmonary process is identified.
Thank you for the referral.
