CHEST X-RAY, PA AND LATERAL VIEWS
INDICATION FOR STUDY: Cough.
FINDINGS: An
examination of the chest shows the lung to be well expanded and free of active
or acute disease. Heart size and contour
is normal. Perihilar and upper lobe
vascularity is normal.
Hemidiaphragms are
normal with clear costophrenic angles.
A lateral chest
radiograph shows a clear retrocardiac space.
The posterior sulcus is clear.
IMPRESSION: No active or acute cardiopulmonary
process is identified.
