X-RAY
EVALUATION OF THE LUMBAR SPINE
FINDINGS: Views of the lumbar spine shows the
vertebral body heights to be normally maintained. There may be minimal disc space narrowing at
L4-L5 and there is slight spondylolisthesis of L4 on L5.
Oblique films fail to
demonstrate any evidence of spondylolysis, which I would anticipate at L4.
The articulation of L5 on S1
is normal with no evidence of spondylolisthesis.
IMPRESSION: Questioned minimal narrowing of the L4-L5
disc space with minimal anterior displacement of the L4 upon L5.
