CHEST
X-RAY, PA AND LATERAL VIEWS
INDICATION FOR STUDY: Acute bronchitis.
FINDINGS: An examination of the chest shows
the lungs to be well expanded and free of active or acute disease. Interstitial markings are slightly increased,
but are bilaterally symmetrical. No
infiltrate is seen.
Heart size and contour
is normal.
Hemidiaphragms are
normal with clear costophrenic angles. A
lateral chest radiograph shows a clear retrocardiac space and the posterior
sulcus is clear.
IMPRESSION: No active or acute cardiopulmonary
process, but with slightly prominent interstitial markings.
