MRI EXAMINATION OF THE RIGHT ANKLE WITHOUT CONTRAST

MRI EXAMINATION OF THE RIGHT ANKLE WITHOUT CONTRAST

INDICATION FOR STUDY:         Tendonitis.  Trauma.

FINDINGS:               Axial, sagittal, and coronal images were obtained on the Open MRI at xxxxxxxx without contrast.  There is slight motion artifact limiting the evaluation.  There is no significant fracture or dislocation.  The talar dome shows no significant abnormality.  The ligaments and tendons appear intact.  The remainder of the evaluation shows no gross abnormality and the visualized portions of the Achilles tendon and plantar fascia also appear without gross abnormality.

IMPRESSION:         Essentially unremarkable examination.  Would recommend further evaluation as needed.

Thank you for the referral.
