TRANSABDOMINAL AND TRANSVAGINAL PELVIC ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION
FINDINGS: The uterus measures 5.3 x 2.9 x
3.3 cm. It has a heterogeneous
echotexture. No definite intrauterine
mass is seen.
There is a small 8 mm
hypoechoic area in the cervical region.
It is of indeterminate nature.
The endometrial stripe
was not optimally visualized.
The right ovary was
not visualized. The left ovary measures
3.2 x 2.6 x 2.9 cm. There is a
1.9 x 1.8 cm cystic left adnexal lesion, most probably representing a small left ovarian cyst.

There is no free fluid
in the cul-de-sac.
IMPRESSION:
1. No
definite intrauterine mass is seen.
2. The endometrial stripe and right ovary
are not visualized.
3. Small left ovarian cyst measuring
about 1.9 x 1.8 cm.
4. The study is limited. Clinical correlation and if indicated,
further evaluation with MRI of the pelvis is suggested.
